Après bientot deux ans d'existence, l'association Para-Side-Racing-Team évolue. Le succès que notre association a remporté au Rallye des Volcans 2009 nous a donné des ailes et nous a motivé pour de nouveaux projets.
C'est ainsi qu'en date du 1er janvier 2010 nous avons décidé d'ouvrir notre association à tout pilote handicapé (paraplégique, amputation... etc), ayant validé son permis moto, et voulant se lancer dans la compétition, quelqu'en soit le domaine (moto solo sur piste, en rallye, side-car de vitesse, de trial ou de cross).
Notre objectif premier était de faire comprendre aux pouvoirs publics et à la Fédération Française de Moto que le handicap physique ne doit pas être un handicap à la compétition ! LA COMPETITION POUR TOUS, telle est notre devise ! En date du 7 septembre 2010, nous avons été entendus par ces instances. En effet, à partir du 1er janvier 2011, nos pilotes paraplégiques roulant en side car pourront participer aux compétitions avec les pilotes valides.
Tout pilote handicapé souhaitant se lancer dans la compétition est invité à se présenter auprès du bureau du PSRT qui s'occupera des formalités : dossier médical, administratif auprès des diverses instances. Et nous vous espérons nombreux à nous suivre dans cette nouvelle aventure.
Nous remercions du fond du cœur notre parrain Philippe Streiff pour son soutien et son intervention, M. Jacques Bolle, président de la FFM pour son accord, les pilotes déjà présents dans l'association pour leurs efforts.

For nearly two years , the association « Para-Side-Racing-Team » has been improving. The success that our association has won at the Rallye des Volcans 2009 gave us wings and motivated us for some new projects.
Thus, as from January 1st 2010, we decided to open up our association to all the handicapped
pilots ( paraplegic, amputation….) having a motorbike driving licence and wishing to get involved in competitive events whatever the fields ( moto solo on tracks, rallies, speed sidecars, trial and cross races).
Our first goal was to make it clear to the authorities and to the Fédération Française de Moto
that the physical handicap must not be a handicap for the competition ! THE COMPETITON
FOR EVERYBODY, such is our motto ! On September 7th 2010, our wishes were granted by these authorities.
Actually, as from January 1st 2011, our paraplegic pilots driving sidecars will be authorized to attend the competitions with other pilots.
Any handicapped pilot wishing to compete should come to the PSRT office which will take care of the administrative formalities: medical records and those with other authorities.
We hope that a lot of people will follow us in this new adventure.
We heartily thank our promoter Philippe Streiff for his support and involvement , Mr Jacques Bolle, chairman of the FFM for his agreement and the pilots already members of the association for their efforts.
